Karoku Arumerita (嘉禄, Arumerita Karoku) is the person that Nai is looking for. His dead body was found on the ground, when Nai went to rescue him. But at the same time, there was someone else, with his face and figure standing next to the body claiming to have "become one" with Karoku. Thus indicating that the "Karoku" that Nai knew no longer exists.
