Hide & Seek is the 6th chapter of Karneval by Touya Mikanagi.
Short Summary
Yogi and Nai visit Gareki, who is still reeling from the his foiled attempt to escape the ship. Hirato then summons Yogi and Tsukumo, and tells them to keep Nai and Gareki from leaving the ship while he investigates the happenings in the nearby Gavan. Later, Gareki tries to leave, but Yogi attempts to stall him by having an extravagant dinner. Before he can leave again, a Black Sheep proposes that they play "hide and seek", with Tsukumo being "it". Gareki and Yogi are quickly found, but Nai, attempting to win, accidently ventures outside, where he is confronted a strange individual. Before the individual can attack Nai, Yogi intercepts him. Before long, even after Gareki and Tsukumo arrive, the strange man incapacitates them all with strange eyeballs. Nai, refusing to run away, attempts to fight back, but is saved by a Black Sheep, who declares Nai to have won hide and seek. Tsukumo then injures the strange man, freeing them all as he flees. Back in the airship, Nai collapses, and sees a vision of a heavily wounded Karoku taking care of Erishuka.
